A little while ago, I had a reunion with two of my best
girlfriend’s from University. We often meet up every couple of months to catch
up, dress up and drink lots of gin. We decided to meet up in London to go to
the theatre but as I was a little under the weather, my friend introduced me to
this little beauty.
Biscuit Ceramic Café is in Greenwich, London. It’s a cute
little café where you can buy cakes and tea but also design and paint ready
made bits of crockery, ornaments and other little bits. When you enter, you can
see the selection of items you can paint from mugs and bowls to pet bowls and
ornaments. There’s a huge selection of paints, different brushes and tips all
over the walls on how to get the perfect colours. The girls opted to do a mug
each whilst I fell completely in love with the dog bowls. Me and G are planning
to get a puppy very soon so it seemed fitting our pooch should have his own
personalised bowl!
Once you have finished scoffing your face with cake and
painting your masterpiece, you pop it to the till where the guys at Biscuit
will send it off to a kilm. You can pick the piece up in 7 days time or they
can post it out to you for an extra charge.
Biscuit is a little pricey though with the cheapest things
to paint costing you around £18, but it really does fill an afternoon. Even if you don’t fancy painting, the café
also does a fabulous selection of bagels, sandwiches, homemade cakes and tea to
indulge on.
What do you think of little Rufus' bowl?
Biscuit Crematic Café is in Greenwich and the nearest tube
station is Cutty Sark. You can find them online here
